Can someone tell me usefulness of using labels or tags in notes? For example, if I make a note attached to a verse and give it a label or tag how can I then use that information? Are those labels or tags searchable? sortable? Is one better than the other?
Labels are more versatile than tags and very searchable, but primarily applied with Highlighting. You can add a label to a note in the Note file, though.
Tags are searched in Your Documents (under "My tag") whereas labels are searchable in your resource as well as Your Documents (e.g. the note file).
Here is a Note attached to chapters 4 & 5:
The label Personality is added but it is not asociated with text until I selected the text of Mt 4:23 and then Mt 4:25 and added both as Attachment Points using "Attach to current selection".
