I know this has been expressed before, but I am rebooting it. I am not sure where the bottleneck jam is, but it's fair to say that the ability to export DIRECTLY from Logos to Kindle was one of the most exciting features in the program and a great many of us would LOVE to see it back.

I know we can export text by other means, but it has limited functionality (for instance, links to Bible references don't work). For my part, I find that simply sitting down to read a book in Logos happens less that I don't have something else than full colour bright screens to look at. And no, luminosity reducing or managing apps like f.lux don't cut for me, but it is worth noting that ongoing discussions of f.lux indicate also that this is really an area of need.

Looking at the ongoing discussions about e-readers, it is clear that many want to read on e-paper but no, don't want to have to choose between buying a book in Logos and/or Amazon. Perhaps Amazon reasons that the feature makes them lose business on e-books, but it does make them lose business on kindles themselves as logos users look for alternatives.

If there is enough support for this plea, perhaps FL would you reconsider approaching Amazon yet again about this and press for a reinstatement of the feature?

Amazon pulled this feature from most 3rd party sources (though I know of at least one that still exists). I would like to see this return as well OR have FAITHLIFE develop a set of optimized "reading" apps for each of its supported platforms. I like the apps that are provided, but they are optimized for study, not reading. They are slowest reading apps I own on my preferred platforms.

Blessings,
Floyd

Most of my use for the Android Faithlife Apps is reading so Yes, a optimized reader would be nice.

Amazon may block doing this directly but there is nothing to stop a feature where with one click a book could be exported to kindle format and then leave us to do the actual transfer to kindle. I would certainly buy more logos books if I could read them on kindle - I have no interest in an android device.

As much as I would love to see this, I'm pretty sure publisher restrictions would never allow this.

YesYesYes

I'd pay a small fee for each book I put on my kindle.
