Well, wherever there are votes, there should be a campaign! My platform is "don't vote for a discount on public domain works we can get for free, vote for a discount on works we cannot get at discounted prices otherwise!"
Rationale: I'd rather have Carson's Pillar commentary at 75% and Spurgeon off a website or in PDF format than have Spurgeon at 75% and no Carson at all (or at 25%).
I anticipate that some may be eyeing discount on collections as opposed to individual works as well. My platform favours the needs of the poor in the Logos constituency who would perhaps not be able to afford even a greatly discounted collection but would be grateful to be able to afford single works otherwise unaffordable too!
Now, where is there is a campaign, there is a debate...

Yes. Everyone, please stop voting for stuff I already have.

We should campaign for a write-in candidate
yes write in
Well, I already have Carson's Pillar commentary and I want Spurgeon in Logos format.
Best I can do is vote for both for a while - then it is Spurgeon.
"In all cases, the Church is to be judged by the Scripture, not the Scripture by the Church," John Wesley
I'm gonna sell my vote. It's the only fair option. Everyone wants me to vote for something different.
Bidding starts now!

Longtime Logos user (more than $30,000 in purchases) - now a second class user because I won't pay them more every month or year.

...and if you were to have such a campaign, who would the write-in be?
Ryan Burns
Just for you - I voted for Carson. :) You're welcome.
Ryan Burns:who would the write-in be?
I would vote for Lenski's NT, but I am pretty sure I would be alone. ??
I would vote for Lenski, but since I already have the entire Pillar I must vote for Spurgeon.

The complete works of Kevin Purcell for $199. Pre-pub price would be 198.99 and I would only take 50% of the price. You could buy a second copy for a friend for $249.
Any takers?
No, but seriously, I would like to see all the Lifeworks updates on there. I just bought the update to the MacArthur Library. If there are other 2.0 libraries, I wish they were on there.
