Where did you read it was today only?

I thought it was because twitter deals are frequently "daily" deals and I conflated that assumption with the "get yours today" part of the ad. But you're right, there is nothing that indicates that it is only for today.
I know the WBC is supposed to be one of the greatest (or at least it seems like it when people advertise it or talk about it) but is there something about it that sets it apart from the rest? Does it tend to be more liberal/evangelical/conservative/etc?
There is a theological spectrum in it but quite a few Evangelicals.
What sets it apart?
1. The way sections are structured: bibliography, translation, translation notes, structure/setting analysis, commentary, explanation. This can be annoying at times because some good stuff can be found in the structure/setting section that you may have to read even if you are not interested much in structural debate.
2. Definitely the "set-apartedness" of WBC in the Logos ecosystem is the price (discounted as is now) for the entire series and one of this quality. I am sure that there will be others who will have other preferences but I consult WBC above all my other technical commentaries (which incl. some NIC, BECNT, some Anchor, Hermeneuia, NAC, Pillar, and NICGNT).
Definitely on the conservative side, but moderately so.
It is scholarly rather than popular. Many of its volumes are ranked among the top five of all commentaries in bestcommentaries.com.
I find I have other volumes I often use more than the WBC volume on any given book. I value some NIC/Pillar/Baker Exegetical/NIGTC and some NAC volumes over the WBC volumes on the same book. The format of the WBC is off-putting. Sometimes you do a lot of scrolling to get to what you want.
It is the price for an almost complete set of commentaries that makes it compelling to me.
