I have seen a note or two that this depends heavily on the CURB Study Bible. How heavily?

Has anybody seen both the CSB and the HCSB Study Bibles to compare the two?

Floyd, from the description of versions on the LifeWay site, the number of notes looks to have increased by 1000, along with additional word studies and other changes.

i am yet to find a useful preview of the notes but I suspect besides the new material the notes will be similar with tinkering to adjust for the new translation in the existing notes. Amazon offers 15 images and one slight change I could see was a note that applied to Jn 1.11 in the HSCB now applies to Jn 1.10-11 in the CSB study bible but otherwise the note remains the same.

This just gives a link to the prepub page which seems to have the same sort of marketing images that can be found on Amazon that I aready mentioned. It doesn't really give a side by side comparison of the two study bibles and examples of the new notes etc, and what value they add. Thanks though for sharing the link.

I have the HCSB Study in print. It is much more usable to have any resource in Logos. I'll skip paper this round. I don't crave study Bibles much anymore, but they are sometimes surprisingly helpful.

JSB Notes ships pretty soon ... maybe there IS hope for study Bibles.
I have HCSB study bible in another software, and it's pretty good. Sure hope to see CSB study bible be available in Logos, as I prefer to have my study resources from the same software.

This is about 2/3rds the way to production. Just a reminder it still exists and could use a few more orders! I don't use the HCSB study bible so I cannot comment on how this is different but from the sample pages and reviews I read it seems like a great study bible.

That's a good question though one only FL can answer. I would think you would be safe to preorder it now and get the discount later. Otherwise, wait until 12/28 and place the order. I'm guessing it will be one of those preorder special price discounts that only last for a short time. Either way, $5 for a study bible is pretty good IMO

I agree. From the reviews I read online if you already have the HCSB study bible then this edition doesn't add much except a few additional articles and maybe some new illustrations. I don't have the HCSB study bible (not sure if it was ever available in Logos either) but I like what I see thus far. I'm also a study-bible-aholic though [:D]
