I am wondering if I can keep my highlighting on the Bibles in the future (e.g. system crash and a new installation is required), or how to synchronize my highlighting to another Logos 4 computer?
If you are connected to the Internet, Logos4 will automatically upload your highlighting/etc to the Logos servers; it will become available if you then synch Logos on another computer using your Logos account.
...at least, that's what I understand.
If you use Logos 4 with the online on, the synchronizing and backups are automatic.
wow, thanks for the quick replies!!!
Please don't call me greedy although I might be in this case .... but can I assume that it includes everything that we add in Logos 4? e.g. Notes, PBB (which should be supported this year) etc? I mean is Logos 4 designed to have one copy in one computer (e.g. desktop), then it will be automatically synchronized (on assumption that it connection to internet) to the Logos server and also to another computer (e.g. notebook) with the same account user?
Absolutely.
Great!! And thanks!
Be warned, it will take a VERY long time to sync if you highlight a lot... I probably highlight around 2 word per verse because I use inductive markups in my studies... After importing them over to 4 this weekend, I think I've have at least 20 hours online and the system was still syncing when I had to shutdown to take laptop to work... (Hopefully it will pick up where it left off!)
Having some performance issues with highlighting too, but need to reindex and such before I complain too much...
