Does anyone know how to highlight within a footnote? Some of them are quite lengthy, but contain a key phrase I would like to highlight, but I am unable.

It's not possible to highlight text within footnotes in Logos 7.

We don't currently have plans to implement this in the near future. We'll update https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-6/suggestions/822227-provide-the-ability-to-mark-up-footnotes (and relevant forum threads) when there's any news to share.

When Kindle implemented footnote popup support, I wondered if they'd killed footnote highlighting (one of my favorites).

Indeed, still works. Their solution was no highlighting in the popup, but a reference to the full footnotes list, where highlighting is still supported.

The Logos tradition is curious, since the library is heavily footnoted. So much so, that the Logos apps have trouble, where there's more footnote text, than regular text.
