I'm not on the subscription plan, but just got an email about the Web App being available now. I'm quite impressed with it so far. Thank you so much FL!
Gives new meaning to the term "watching paint dry". Utterly unusable.
Performance might be OK for you in the US. I'm in Europe on a fairly good 120 Mbps Internet connection, but what I see is a lot of these:
ping time is about 200 ms. For major sites like Apple, Microsoft, Cisco using CDNs I get between 12 -14 ms, so nothing wrong with my Internet connection.
So, basically, useless (for me, anyone outside the US I suspect) at present.
It's usable for me - based in the UK. I do see some delay but not really a major problem.
I wonder if there are more regional issues - or something else causing this.
VPN?
I have Comcast Cable. Vastly better than the Earthlink DSL I had. DSL is short for D...SLOW.
Would love to hear from more people around the world what their experience is like (which parts of the app are fast/slow, how long they take, and where the pain points are). We do have monitoring that can help us understand page speed from around the world, but nothing can replace actual user experiences. Thanks!
By the way, we have a forum for the web app, which might be more useful for specific discussion surrounding it.

Doesn't work on Safari 10.0.3 on macOS Sierra, two machines iMac and MacBook Air.
On both machines the search, open Bible, open Bible & Study Bible, open Bible & Commentary show progress bar GIF endlessly. Also none of the links in the various cards work.
Basically nothing works.
I have Ghostery & 1Password extensions installed, if I disable both of them still the same — nothing works.
I have Firefox as secondary browser, tested that on same machines and the site does work in Firefox. Still slow though.
Performance wise, below is a trace route to the app.logos.com site, of course the web app also takes resources from a whole bunch of servers on the Internet, any one of which can on/off have performance issues and slow down the app.
Hop 5 is in the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (I am in the Netherlands), one of the largest exchanges in Europe and one of the main entry points for overseas cables to Europe (i.e. about as close as is going to get to a resource coming in from the West Coast of the US).
Hops 2 & 3 IP addresses removed intentionally.
Performance is going to be better in England because most undersea data cables from the US east coast hits landfall in the UK before Europe.

Hi Patrick Where in Europe are you trying to run the app?
Hi Graham - I was adding to my first reply as you were writing this. Pls see further info in my recent post.
Patrick
I am on Safari 10.1.1 and macOS Sierra with my 2015 MacBook Pro Retina.
It is very fast for me, I have a 4G LTE connection by telephone with 40Mbps.
I am in Kyrgyzstan, i have no problems with any of the links working, everything loads up very fast.
