IIRC, Faithlife has said in the past that it can take up to a week to propogate to the mobile system. The web page does indicate Mobile will be available.
I've noticed that it usually only takes a few hours these days.
Mattillo: Yes sir. I only meant it as an observation. I know these things take time and no official announcement has been made yet.

Yes, the way us Logos users are, if it's posted, we're going to download it whether it's ready or not.

Erwin Stull, Sr.: Whyndell Grizzard: One request, since I keep both linked to my tool bar- can you make one with a different color/ design to easily distinguish them? I have noticed that the website has a different color, but on the desktop, it is the same color (Blue) for both. Hopefully they will change it on the desktop to match the color on the website.

Just as NIV84 and NIV2011 have contrasting colors, NASB and NASBPARA need contrasting icons!!
Maybe NASB95PARA will "go gold" (like the website) when the RI is added

Good idea. We'll look into it.

Will that require a separate "purchase"?

No.
This should all be rolling out soon (I'm waiting on a few final details).
There will be a separate product page for the paragraph version. We will set up a discount such that anyone who owns the current version of the NASB will be able to get the paragraph version free. There is a new reverse interlinear for the paragraph version. That, too, will be available for free to anyone who owns the previous reverse interlinear.
I'll post here in the forums when that's ready. We'll plan to send out some email communication later this week or next week.
Thanks!
Randall Cue:No.
Thanks Randall. My use of quotation marks was meant to imply that I knew the "purchase" would be free. Reading Ben's response, I can't decipher if we will need to "purchase" a second item, just as we had to "purchase" the first.
Instead of having two separate versions of the NASB as two separate Bibles, wouldn't it be easier and better for everyone if there was one NASB Bible with options in the visual filters to either be verse by verse or paragraph by paragraph? I don't understand the need to use two separate resources for the exact same underlying NASB. Perhaps I missed a discussion of this elsewhere?

Makes sense. Sorry I misunderstood.

Your view was FL's view. FL released what you suggested, but there was strong opposition. The "verse by verse" visual filter doesn't adequately (for some users) reproduce what was existing before. For background: The NASB95 translators held to a "verse by verse" formatting philosophy. Many users bought the NASB for that reason. Apparently most current NASB print copies are in paragraph format, which has led to many users regularly requesting a paragraph version. After years of no responses from FL, in a flash it happened nearly overnight. Then the Sound and the Fury. Although my preference is for paragraph formatting, and I agree with you in a general sense, I feel strongly that this was the right decision. Those who purchased the NASB95 for its unique formatting should not lose access to it... even if others of us can't see the big deal.

No problem. Your heart was in the right place and I appreciate it.

Faithlife,
I agree giving the new NASB Paragraph Version its own icon color (such as the gold one reflected on its product page) would be helpful; but please do not change the blue color of the original verse formatted NASB.
I only use the original verse formatted NASB and its blue icon is a good non-distracting color for my eyes which are very sensitive to some of the other ultra bright high contrast bible cover icons used (i.e., ESV, LEB). Again, my request here to keep the blue icon pertains solely to the original verse formatted NASB.
Thank you
Did the reverse interlinear go up?
The NASB 1995 Paragraph Version is now active on mobile.
The book cover color and the reverse interlinear is not posted yet.
Great news!
Any updates on the reverse interlinear sir?
