Over the last several have noted an increase in the speed of opening layouts. This will cost Apple a lot of money, as I cancelled my plans for a new iMac [<:o)] [:P]

Don't say that. Apple may see this and increase the prices. [:'(]

The navigate-by-pericope feature works quite nicely in bibles, study bibles, and commentaries.

    Thanks!

I need a hint.  Where do I find the:

    • Genitive Form and Principal Parts data in the Bible Word Study?
    • the ability to navigate by pericope in the navigation box?

    Thank you.

Genitive Form and Principal Parts data in the Bible Word Study?

I believe this is in the Lemma section of an original language word study. The lemma at the top of that section will include the extra data.

the ability to navigate by pericope in the navigation box?

Open up any resource with a Bible index. Type "Jesus" in the navigation box. Select a suggested pericope to navigate to that location.

I need a hint.  Where do I find the:

    • Genitive Form and Principal Parts data in the Bible Word Study?

Principal parts for verbs that occur in the New Testament,* like below. Hover each part for more info. We examined all known morph data we have access to (NT, LXX, Apostolic Fathers, Josephus, Philo, Greek OT Pseudepigrapha, and even Perseus morphology data) to fill out principal parts with actual, in-the-wild examples. If we couldn't find an example, "--" is listed.

And genitive endings for nouns and adjectives that occur in the NT:

    ------

    * A note because this data was aggregated a long time ago, and I honestly don't remember if it is just lemmas that occur in the NT, or if LXX lemmas are included as well.

Hi Andrew and Rick.  Easy to find (and use) once you know where to look.  I like them both.

One request on the additional info for the Genitive Form and Principal Parts data - the tool tips close after 5 seconds.  It would be helpful if they stayed open until you move the pointer off the data.  (Some of them have more info than I can read in 5 seconds.)

    Thank you.

I replaced my 4-year old MacBook Pro with a high-end 2017 model. Unfortunately, the speed increase is negligible. My conclusion is: stick to what you have as long as it runs. Technology improvements have become so small that upgrades are not worthwhile. Having said this, my change from HDD to SSD in 2013 was noticeable.

For those struggling (like me!) to understand…

    • Added support for filtering Basic searches with a reference range.
    • Added support for filtering Morph searches with a reference range.

    …it means this.

In basic/morph search, if you select a resource or a collection (rather than "All Resources"), and those resources have datatype milestones, then you'll be able to limit your search within those milestones.

So if you wanted to search within Augstine's The Trinityyou could do it like this:

This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Thanks, Tim. I've created a case to fix this.

Though about replacing my Late 2012 iMac, until I compared models and prices. I would need top-of-the-line to have a noticeable gain—the 1 TB SSD was quite tempting however. Finally upgraded my iPad instead [:P]

Thanks for adding this! This functionality would be greatly aided by a more aggressive autocomplete dropdown, that appears and filters as soon as you start typing (or even when you click in the box).

Install went smoothly but it left me dead in the water. The program goes through sign in and preparing library and then nothing else happens. I am currently running the most recent version of Windows 10.

Please start a new thread about this and provide as many details as possible - including diagnostic logs (details at https://www.logos.com/support/windows/report-problem
