Hello,
I found these two files in my computer:
index.idx (6,4 Go)index-build.idx (6,3 Go)
Is this a duplicate? I lack space: can I delete "index-build.idx" without risk?
Thank you.
Truly.
Is Indexer running ?
The file "index-build.idx" is a replacement for index.idx with newly indexed resources. Build exists during indexing. If indexing completes successfully, "index-build.idx" disappears (index.idx is deleted followed by rename of index-build.idx to index.idx).
During indexing, anticipate 7,7 Go being used: 6,4 Go to duplicate Library index plus 1,3 Go for temporary files. Suggest having 8,8 Go of free space (or more).
FYI: my index.idx file is 17,14 Go (17.14 GB). During Indexing 20,66 Go (20.66 GB) was used.

index-build.idx (6,3 Go)
If Indexer process is not running and you still have index-build.idx it indicates that indexing did not complete properly. The best solution is to delete the indexing folder (most likely LibraryIndex) and restart Logos. Indexing will start and take a considerable time to complete.
