I have Understanding the Bible commentary series, it is a great series. It is worth it, especially at the sale price

It depends on what you are looking for if I had to choose one or the other I would choose Understanding the Bible Commentary because it covers all of Scripture and I have used it and benefited from it numerous times. I got Boice because it was on sale and it is also a pretty good set but not as extensive but a great price nevertheless.

A good price indeed, but I believe the all-time deal was $79.95 for the set during the 2012 Christmas sale.
Actually, I mistyped earlier...$77 with the ten dollar coupon...I bought the three volumes for $5...one was free, the second two dollars and the third three dollars. That brought the rest with dynamic pricing to $87 and then with the $10 coupon it was only $77.
