Another possible bug in command box

In the Text Box visible on the Home Page, just to the right of "Tools" on the menu bar - (Mac version) - I type something in there, and it opens the resource.
Now, I close all, get back to the Home Page, and that text is still in the command box - so I click in it to type something else, and I am pretty sure on the first click it used to highlight the whole text, so all I had to do was click once, then type next resource. Now, it just inserts the cursor into the text, so you have to delete a lot of characters on either side of the tex, to be able to type something else in (unless you do Ctrl/Opt-A or something)
Not sure if it acted like this or, when I did a Close All and went back to the home page, the command box was EMPTY - either way, I don't recall having to delete so much out of the command box to type something else new in.

This is still working for me on Windows as you describe

Using Logos 7.12 RC 1 on macOS 10.12.6 showed command highlighted after clicking "Close All" shortcut. Clicking Home had command box empty, but clicking in command box brought back previous command with cursor in middle of text (command+A followed by delete removed previous command).

Thanks Graham. that's what I remember - I guess from when I was a Windows/Logos user. This is the way most every text box works too, even on Mac (which is what I am on) - try clicking on the URL in your browser.
I wonder if this could get fixed on the Mac to be the same as Windows? Imagine having to click, ctrl-A, delete, then type a URL in the browser - people would go nuts!

Faithlife, any comment on this? Please reply...
Clicking in command box on Home page (Mac) does not highlight the text in it
Clicking in command box on Home Page (Windows) does highlight the text in it
Clicking in the command box on a Bible pane highlights the text in it
Clicking in the command box on a commentary pane highlights the text on it
Clicking in the command box of an Exegetical Guide highlights the text in it
Clicking in the command box on a Bible Word Study highlights the text in it
Clicking in the text box of a Facebook highlights the text in it
...it's probably safe to say everywhere in the program that you click in a text/command box, Mac and Windows, highlights the text, EXCEPT on the Home Page of the Mac version - at least of Verbum, probably Logos too.
Someone from Faithlife, could this bug be acknowledged and fixed? Please? It's terribly annoying..

Philana, any news on this getting fixed? It is quite an annoyance for anyone who uses the command box frequently and is not used to the behavior since it is so unique. Thanks...
