It is fairly simple to mark-up text. Is there a way to mark-up maps withing LOGOS?

Not that I am aware of - but something that is discussed from time to time.
Thank you for the quick response - I was able to work around this by clipping the map and saving it as a image for editing using my image editor. Is there a way to paste an image into a note or clipping?

Not at the moment but I believe this is being looked at for the new notes system currently under development
For the most part, maps in Logos are a disappointment. Too few. Not versatile enough. Lines and markings that are not explained well and can't be erased for your purposes. Difficult to search, even with Media setting.
Thank you for your responses. I am beginning a series on Amos (a book I studied in college under Carl Armstrong (sp?)). I was trying to locate the right locations mentioned in chapters 1 and 2. I found a couple of useful maps, but wanted to add some of my own markups. I ended up clipping the images and marking them up with a third party image editor. I stored the resulting images within MS OneNote. I am disappointed that i cannot store them in LOGOS.
Floyd you can do this on Accordance
Tried Accordance for a short time, but w/o a library i could not get much use out of it. Since I am heavily invested in LOGOS and (less so) in Word Search. Did not want to put money into another tool. Thanks for the details - maybe others can benefit.

Unfortunately, I have been saying this for years. Maps should be easy to find, easy to mark, and easy to add or delete a location. In other words, we should be able to personalize the maps for personal use and class handouts.
I felt the same way for a long time, but I ended up purchasing Accordance for use as stand-alone map software. I purchased the lowest package, the atlas pack, photoguides, and Carta resources. Their atlas is simply more functional and intuitive. That said, if or when Logos straightens out the Atlas and gets the Carta resources, I will consolidate everything back into Logos, because although the Atlas may be more functional and intuitive, the interface in Accordance is clunky and not intuitive at all compared to Logos in my opinion. I would much rather use Logos for everything.
Yeah, I agree, I think Accordance has Logos beat by a long shot (at the moment) for image resources, the atlas, timeline, and also having Carta products, and speed. I use both programs equally. They compliment one another in my opinion but to each their own.
