Bug: Changing Books Within A Commentary Series
In the past, I used to be able to change the commentary by typing the book reference in the reference bar of a specific commentary series (i.e. changing from Matthew to Luke in the MacArthur NT Commentary series).
The software no longer allows me to do that. I have to either open up the other commentary manually, or I have to first navigate to it in the Passage Guide, find the right commentary, and then click on it.
Two logs attached. In the first, Logos crashed after I typed the book reference about 10-15 times. In the second, it didn't crash, but finally opened the reference about after 10-15 tries.
Is this a known bug? Something with my machine?

There are some unusual warnings and errors for LLS:MNTCLUKE1 and LLS:MNTCJN1 in the first log set, but I can't make a definitive suggestion. You could wait for a response from Faithlife or call Customer Service.

Curious if waiting for search assistant to populate ?
After drop down menu appears, can click on desired pericope to change volumes in a series:
Clicking "The Birth of Jesus (Luke 2:1-7)" changed MNTC volumes:
FYI: my library has Luke 1-5 for MacArthur while lacking the rest of Luke so drop down menu shows nothing for Luke 22:

Hi John,
I'm having trouble reproducing this. Are you allowing the auto-complete populate? You need to type the passage, allow it populate and then select the passage you want.
I see Keep Smiling replied by the time I posted.

I was not letting the dropdown populate, but I don't ever remember having to do that in the past. I recently switched to a Mac from a PC, so maybe that's a difference between the two platforms?
If I let the dropdown populate, it does work.

Concur waiting for drop down to populate so can choose reference for navigation is annoying.
Dreaming of option to disable automatic search assistance for quicker power use. Cool for drop down assistance for learning search capabilities, but consistently annoying to wait, especially after desired search or location has already been entered. Having human wait for computer assistance before human can choose what to do is annoying to human when computer assistance takes longer than a second.

The previous sentence is the core of the matter i.e.
consistently annoying to wait, especially after desired search or location has already been entered.
In many cases you can hit Enter (in Windows) before auto-suggest completes. For this particular case I rarely fail when immediately hitting Enter, but sometime wait 2-3s for successful navigation - auto-suggest takes about 1-2s.

On Mac, enter is ignored so need auto-suggest to complete before can humanly choose.

Hi Keep Smiling,
We've got a case open to investigate the speed of autocomplete.

This is now fixed in 7.15.
