Do we get a cut on all temporary books in Logos now

Them there books (who said we had to be grammatically correct) that we see as temporary in Logos Now ... do we get a cut on all of those or just a few? It seems not for I just tried it and saw no discount. The reason I'm posting this is to be absolutely sure I've not flipped off the rails somewhere and not understanding something correctly. Please advise.

You mean, "Do we get a discount"? If so, no. You get a discount on the "preview book of the month" for a window of time AFTER the month has expired. You should receive an email about it (I think).

Do you know, however, that access to the "temporary" book in question is actually granted to you via your Logos Now subscription? Which book?

Thanks for the reply. Your statement "If so, no" answers my question as to all books. But I'm lost as to what you mean by the Preview book of the month ... are you referring to the fact we can get a free book each month?

You ask "What book" ... I had none in mind at the moment.

Off the top of my head, Logos Now provides you with three kinds of resources:

There are some which are granted to all LN users and they are ongoing. Off the top of my head, it may just be reverse interlinears (so not books). There may be some books too... I dont keep track.
Each month, FL "previews" resources for LN members. It may be a book, mobile ed course, etc. You can't opt out, you can't choose. It automatically downloads for LN users... and the license expires at the end of the month.
Each month, LN users may choose ONE resource from a list to keep. These are not "temporary," but permanent acquisitions.

I knew only about the free book each month but not about the ONE resource from the list. So if I'm understanding you correctly, I get the free book each month but in addition to that, I can choose one from the list that downloads each month.

If that is so, do I just do a search for that particular book from the store section and add it to the cart and get it for no cost? Or am I way off?

The link Mike provided is a great resource. You should make sure you are aware of all of your benefits.

I can choose one from the list that downloads each month.

I modified the link so that it will show you only books that you can choose from each month, ones that you don't own already & sorted by title.

You will enter a coupon code. As always, we aren't allowed to share that code in the forums, but it is found on the membership page Mike linked to.

Glad to help. I should add one thing about the "one free book" deal. You might want to create a strategy. For example: Start purchasing all books in a collection. I systematically bought all the books I didn't already own in THIS collection (Chesterton). Although I am not in the market, those books are part of other base packages, which my ownership would dynamically reduce. Next month I am going to have to start a new collection... but I don't know which!

FWIW - After my last post, and since February is nigh upon us, I decided to figure out my next move. I am going to start on "The Poetical Works of John and Charles Wesley." These are included in a number of base packages which I don't currently own.
