Let's say I have, in Logos 7, a new window open. On that new workplace, I open the ESV on one side and the Bible knowledge commentary (or it can be any books with scripture references) on the other side. When I click on a Bible reference in the BKC for example, one of 2 things happens: 1) the link opens in the already opened ESV (that's what I want) or 2) the "clicked" reference will open another ESV window in the same side as the BKC for the reference! This is really annoying. How can I get a scripture link to always open in the ESV that is already active in the workplace? Thanks in advance for your help! God bless you ALL.

    Hi Richard

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

I cannot reproduce this on my iMac and at a quick glance cannot see a setting that would make this happen.

It may be that if we see screen shot of the situation we may be able to spot something subtle.

If you post a screenshot make sure that we can see the second panel with the ESV in, and the link that opened it.

It might also be useful if you told us details of your OS version and your Logos Version

Thank you Mike for responding. My OS version is: macOS High Sierra 10.13.3. I have a recent iMac 27" (2017). My Logos version is: 7.12.0.0035. Here's the screenshot to the problem.

    Hi Richard,

Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding something, but I believe selecting "Send hyperlinks here" from the panel menu in the ESV will do what you want.

    Hi Richard,

I don't see anything obvious on your screen shot.

For future reference the best way to add such things to the forum posts is to use the shortcut Command Shift 4 and use the crosshairs to select the area  of screen.

The resulting screenshot should save to your desktop and can then be added to a post using the paperclip icon above. This will allow you to save additional artefacts including open menus.
