Hello All,

I've ran across multiple views on the types of laws in the OT. I'm curious if there is a feature, existing or upcoming that has an option to toggle on and off highlights of law types (ceremonial, moral, judicial, civil, case, etc.)?

Any thoughts?

That would be very difficult because there is no consensus!

I'd be happy of they had a few versions you could toggle between

The Commandments of the Law Interactive allows you to view the 613 laws and filter by applicability for today as well as other types of categorization. This might be useful for you.

I have a highlighting style that I use which is based on Wrights five categories of Law from his book Old Testament Ethics for the People of God: (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Old-Testament-Ethics-People-God/dp/1844744396/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518086743&sr=8-1&keywords=Wright+old+testament+ethics)

Personally, I find it much more useful than those who categories by apodeictic, casuistic, etc. Then all I do is highlight sections as I am reading them. A bit of research on the difference between criminal and civil (case) law is all that is needed to get you going. The rest is fairly easy to discern with a commentary/decent study bible by your side.

You can download my highlighter stylehere: https://documents.logos.com/documents/4736d298920e48dbbc0279b4597d7eb6/details

Let me know if it is useful.

Carpe verbum.
