Just a little push for three sets which need some help getting to production. If I understand correctly, these three sets are the largest collections of early Christian writings in print. In my opinion they are a fantastic price.
It would be fantastic to see them get through!
Series Graeca
Series Latina
Syriaca and Orientalis

In since 2012.
It's worth it at three times the price.
I'm in on all three but they each have a long way to go. We need more bidders!
The real market for these has to be seminaries, universities, and colleges where the cost of hard copy purchases of these complete sets has to be prohibitive. Faithlife needs to invest in these works as a marketing tool. There will never be sufficient individual buyers to make production of these sets worthwhile.
How would that work though? Do seminaries buy a Logos package for students to use in their library?
Some seminaries offer a Logos package to their students (e.g. Dallas Theological Seminary). Including these in such packages would be of benefit to those students if their curriculum made use of the resources.
I think advanced students (Ph.D) would be interested. Logos could also come up with a Seminary/University on-line type license. Or license it to one of the big existing research on-line data bases. I'm just thinking that there is no way that a small number of interested individual Faithlife users could ever justify the immense cost and effort this project would require. I stand by my $250 bid, though.
