This may have been addressed in another place, but I could not find it. I want to make slide text on a sermon editor slide to be formatted. I know that if you surround text with a double underscore ( __text__ ) it makes the text underlined, and if you surround in carats ( ^text^ ) it becomes superscript. What can I do to make the text appear in italics or bold? I only want certain words formatted, and not the whole verse/text. Also, is there a way to format just certain words (i.e. make them a different color) as well? I want to highlight certain parts of verses, but right now all I know how to do is underline them. Thanks!

Enclose text using  * ; *text* = bold and **text** = italics

I tried it, but they're backwards: *text* = italics and **text** = bold. Thanks for your help!
