I just downloaded the basic package to try the software before deciding whether or not to purchase. I have a MAC, High Sierra 10.13.3. It keeps hanging up on the "Verifying Logos..." Then it has a pop up asking if I am sure if I want to open it. I say Yes and it hangs up in  "verifying logos...l" again.

Customer Support Chat is apparently closed. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thank you.

Cindy

Hi Cynthia

Welcome to Logos and welcome to the forums - sorry to hear you are having problems.

Please try to enable diagnostic logging and post diagnostic logs in a reply to this thread (use the paperclip icon). Details are at https://www.logos.com/support/mac/report-problem

That should help us get a better idea of what is going on.

And hopefully some Mac users will come along soon with some more detailed advice

Graham

Cynthia Parker:

Welcome Big Smile

Have you dragged the Logos application from downloaded disk image (dmg) into your desired folder before launching Logos from your folder ?

Note: Logos 7 install => https://www.logos.com/install includes Mac installation video link on right side => https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/install while installation instructions do not mention Mac needs desktop application dragged from dmg to a folder before opening (from your folder). Opening Logos (or Verbum) application from disk image will quickly crash.

I have a MAC, High Sierra 10.13.3

Personally using 27" iMac and 13" MacBook Air running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (so 10.13.3 is missing Apple updates).

Also have successfully used Logos and Verbum applications in various folders: Applications, Documents, and Downloads. Since macOS High Sierra includes iCloud sync of Documents, have changed my preferred folder to Downloads for Logos/Verbum application bundles.

Keep Smiling Smile
