I have a MacBook Air. How do I insert verses into a Word Document besides using the Copy Bible?
In windows, I could place my curser on the verse and insert. Can I do that in the Mac Word Version as well?
Thanks...
To tool on Word for Windows you refer to is not supported in the version of Word for Mac. It's a Mac thing. Logos could create a Services tool, but they have not done so I'm guessing because the Copy Bible Verse tool in Logos is very powerful and useful. Is there a reason you don't want to use it?

Text Service can be used to replace selected Bible reference with verse(s) using settings for Copy Bible Verses:
Text Service replacement likes a space between Book and Numeric reference.

That does not appear on my version of Word on MAC. Under the services, text....Logos does not appear. Is there something else that has to be set up? Thanks!

Mike Binks:
This still is not pasting my verses into Word for MAC; all it is doing is opening my copy Bible verse section of Logos (and it does not even have the verse that I put in my Word document) so it does not appear to be doing anything special at all. Am I missing something. I have checked all the things that you show and when I put my Bible verse into Word and hit enter, nothing happens.
Pastor Michael Huffman: I put my Bible verse into Word and hit enter, nothing happens.
Steps:
As you see the reference here below... I typed it twice. The second copy I followed the directions I just gave you and the passage replaced the reference (exactly as shown). NOTE: There is also a keyboard shortcut to replace steps 3&4
John 3:16
John 3:16 (CSB) — 16 For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

When nothing is selected in Word, then Copy Bible Verses (Logos) appears in Services for Word
Replace with Passage (Logos) appears in Word services when a Bible reference has been entered & selected in Word followed by clicking Services:
Screen shot shows mt 6.9-13 is selected in Word (has blue background).

Steps: Type a reference (i.e. "John 3:16" [no quotes]) Select the entirety of the reference ("John 3:16") Go to the "services" menu under the application (i.e. "Word" or "Safari"... I will do it in this post below) Select "Replace with Passage (Logos)" As you see the reference here below... I typed it twice. Thank you very much. Makes sense. Do you know what the \keyboard short cut is?
Pastor Michael Huffman:Do you know what the \keyboard short cut is?
JT (alabama24): Pastor Michael Huffman:Do you know what the \keyboard short cut is? It is Shift-Command-E on my computer (which is probably the default) I believe it is configurable (so it may be different on your computer) There is one other way to access this: 1) Select the Reference 2) Right Click and 3) Go to the "services" menu. NOTE: The keyboard shortcut is not listed in the right click menu.
Thank you very much. Very Helpful!
Thank you so much. It works exactly like I hoped that it would.
