The New Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible

With the Anchoe Bible Dictionary, many OT books in Hermenia series and the Apocrypha of the OT- many of the foot notes carry article refrences to this resource only makes sense to have them in Logos.

Another reason for having the New Interpreters publications in Logos. [:D] http://community.logos.com/forums/t/16328.aspx

Would be nice but I think I recall that Abingdon was committed to their own software much as Zondervan was. If enough people ask Abingdon, maybe it might happen in spite of that.
I cannot find an email address so snail mail would have to be used:

I'd love to see IB and IDB on Logos. Frankly, I find the user interface for Abingdon to be so bad that I don't even use the program....Logos has spoiled me.

That is basically exactly what I told some folks at Abingdon. They told me that they have been in dialogue with Logos (yea!) but that the parties haven't yet been able to agree on a split of the revenue, and that Logos had politely turned down their offer of an equal split. I hope the two companies can work something out!

i'd love to see this, but I am doing good with AYBD, ISBE, IVP Essentials and ZEB right now. Enough to keep me reading until they work out a deal--which I hope they do!
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

I would also love to see the NIBD available in Logos. My Abingdon version uses the old Folio Views document management software which, as far as I can determine, will not install on Vista or Windows 7. I couldn't get any help from Abingdon, but I found a patch from another supplier who uses the same software. Not very satifactory.

This is an email I got yesterday from Abingdon Press
"Pastor Easton -
We are currently negotiating with Logos to have resources from Abingdon Press available through Logos. Our publishing team will be meeting with them again in November. At this point, there is not a timeline for when products might be available.
Mark Yeh"
Hoping they work it out! I am excited to eliminate my print library of Commentaries. NIBC is too good to sell off without a logos digital version!

I sure hope they can come to an agreement, that nobody is being obstinate or unreasonable. It would really be awesome to be able to get Abingdon resources in Logos format. They've got some great stuff. It would benefit both parties and users in the long run to get past this negotiation hurdle.

Thanks Rosie!
I sent my emails, and I was polite as I can be. I also indicated that I was a Methodist pastor and life-long Abingdon customer.
