Every time I try to search the forums, I get:
Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too.
This has been the case for several weeks now. I can't spend all day scrolling through thousands of forum posts looking for an answer.
How can I search the forums successfully?
Thank you,
Ernie
You can use Google eg "site:https://community.logos.com/forums banana" with no quote marks
Faithlife Feedback Boards | Logos 9 Commands | Logging
The search function for the forums sucks. Its basically useless.
and I thought it was me..... thanks
site:community.logos.com AND searchterm works. Just replace SearchTerm with whatever you are seeking
Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files | Install
For clarification: you don't need "AND". The syntax is simply site:community.logos.com searchterm
macOS, iOS & iPadOS | Logs | Install
search box doesn't work for me either
The search box has become essentially useless for me as well. It doesn't really matter what I put in. More often than not it comes back with an error. It didn't use to be this way. Not sure what changed.
If you install the TamperMonkey browser extension for your browser, I have a small script that hijacks any search from the forums and sends it to google to search the forums and optionally the Logos support pages : Forum Search to Google.
