Where is the resource info panel?
Under Logos 7, clicking the info button (the little circle with an i in it) would flip the resource pane around, and show publishing information, tags, etc.
That button doesn't exist in Logos 8 - it is gone, or is that feature available elsewhere?
And yes, I know that I can find out author and publisher info by jumping to that section of the text. But it was nice not to lose my place in the resource, and especially to be able to tag a book without having to find it all over again in the Library

OK, well, never mind - there is an Information link in the resource menu

I can find the info pane one time, but once I've toggled it "on", and then viewed it and clicked "done", I can't get back to it without toggling it "off" and then back "on". This seems buggy. Or am I not looking in the right place? Is it "open" somewhere as long as the check-mark toggle is "on"?

Good spot - I think this is a bug.

Cannot duplicate this with Mac OS 10.13.6. Clicking in the resource menu or typing Cmd-Shift-i works repeatedly.

The issue lies with clicking the Done button to return.

Hi Mary-Ellen,
We have an open case for this bug. We'll update this thread when we are able to fix it. Thanks for reporting it.

Must be a Windows bug. Still cannot duplicate with Mac OS

Hi! I was going to report that bug, but saw it already reported here. If you click "Done" in the up right corner to close the information view, you have still the "Information" ticked in the menu. That needs to be unticked and ticked again to get back to the information view.
I'd like to see the "i" icon back there, as I use the information view often to edit my tags, copy the resource citation, etc. and that was really handy.
Also: The citation formatting drop down list in the information view is gone and replaced with links to few formatting styles only. I need to go to the Program settings if I want to change the formatting temporarily to copy the citation info. That old drop down list was much better.
Faithlife Connect + several Base Packages + Luther's Works, etc.

You mean this list? Seems to be working, at least on macOS. Could you post a screenshot of what you are getting?

It seems there's a bug in that list as well. It showed me few options as links side by side, but when I made the panel more wide or narrow (depending on the resource), the button for the list popped up there.
There's 2 screenshots below:

And here's a screenshot of the original bug discussed here:
"Information" ticked already in the menu after the information view was closed using the "Done" button (instead of unticking it from the menu).

Mikko, I cannot reproduce this bug on macOS...looks like you found a Windows bug. I suggest that you create a separate thread addressing this issue (put the word "BUG" in the title) so that the FL developers are sure to see it. Especially since Philana has already acknowledged the bug that this thread is about. Good job.

I would also like the "i" info button to be brought back, along with the "Prioritize" button on the Library panel. Those buttons were quick and convenient ways to access that info and I liked the toggle functionality. Now you have to make an extra click into a menu to see that info.

This has been fix in 8.2.
