I prefer to read many books in my Kindle. I'd buy a tablet or other mobile device if I could read Logos format books in a light-weight reader app. I won't use the Logos mobile app anymore because whenever I've tried it on my phone it crashes, uses too much memory and ruins my phone experience. I don"t need all the linking, though pop-up scripture text would be nice. Is there any light-weight reader app for Logos format books?

Have a great day,
jmac

Well.

You got your app.logos.com, and the older Biblia.com. Both demand on-line. Neither for me.

Then you can try the Noet app which (so far) hasn't been blessed with the headaches that Bible has.

Or if you have an older device, you can download older versions (last I tried). I suspect you prefer your phone, however.

I'm happily esconsed on an older ios with old Noet, and a latest ios with an un-updated Noet. Peaceful reading.

There are several reader apps produced by FL for iOS and Android (including Kindle Fire). Do you have an iPhone or Android? If so, you can try the apps out.  Please visit the mobile forum for more: https://community.logos.com/forums/150.aspx

Yes, I use the App: Faithlife Ebooks on my iPad. I think it would be the same for the Kindle.

Ok, I'll try it. Is it different from Logos mobile app? Frankly I'm confused by all the different names and apps.

Jim,

I use the logos app on my kindle fire and it works great.  Suggest you start out with that one.

You can access all of the logos books and mobile ed courses in your library.  You can also use tools such as passage guide and exegetical guide.

It provides a very good logos experience overall.

They are basically the same, targeted for different audiences. In my opinion, the Logos app is best for most users. The Faithlife eBook reader is slightly stripped down. The Noet app is similar, but geared towards academic literary users (not religious). Verbum is for Catholic users. Faithlife Study Bible is geared towards churches/small groups and has social media added in.

All of these apps will use your library.

That really helps. Thanks

You have access to all of your Logos book, as well as all of your notes & notebooks. You also have access to the community notes. I will advise you that if you want to do any highlighting or taking notes on your resources, you must download the book to your device first.

That is not supposed to be true. If you are finding that so, there is a problem.
