In the last week I’ve recieved 2 separate ‘pastor spam‘ catalogues. Both had my address (obviously) and both had the name of my small group I lead (in addition to my name). The only 2 possibilities Of who gave out my info are either Logos, or my church. I’m guessing it was Logos. Has anyone else experienced this? Especially recently? And if so, does anyone know how to make it stop?

Thanks!

Check https://faithlife.com/account/email-preferences/en/ and see if you are on any unexpected lists.

Thanks for the link Gabriel. I was actually talking about my physical address. Should have clarified.

Well... guess it’s just me. Maybe it’s not Logos giving out my home address.

I take it that you are not referring to the Gmail address you publish on the Cup O' site?

Thanks Alabama - I would always refer to that as 'junk-mail'.

I guess two peoples separated by a common language strikes again.

Me too.

It may be generational rather than "across the pond." Smile

I'm with you Mike; junk mail is physical, SPAM is electronic. Sometimes, it is difficult to teach these children proper terminology Stick out tongue

For me, SPAM is always e-mail. But Junk Mail can be either print or e-mail...and Apple agrees with me: Big Smile

I did!  The latter being a series of sample offers in catalogue form.  My first thought was Faithlife might be the source.

Yes, probably should have called it ‘junk mail’.

Paul if you got some junk mail catalogs too, I wonder how we get ourselves off the list...?

It would be encouraging if someone from Faithlife would reply “We never give or sell your personal data to third parties. I do not know how they got your address.”

I guess that is never going to happen if you are able to tick this box in your email preferences.

As far as I remember, the emails with offers from partners I got were all sent from a Faithlife address, so they wouldn't need to give my address to the partner. I think I am no longer subscribed to those.
