Mounce, William D. Basics of Biblical Greek Vocabulary. Edited by Verlyn D. Verbrugge. Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2006.
When I try to access this media, I get the generic message:
I have DirectX installed. any suggestions are appreciated.

Can I assume you are not working offline? If you have confirmed you are online, a logo may help.
I cannot duplicate the problem (i.e. I am able to access the media in that resource)
EDIT: If you have confirmed you are online, are you able to download the media to your computer?

Not working offline. (verified)
I was able to download the media. or at least it seemed to. I opened the panel again after a few minutes and now says "delete downloaded media".
the window still shows the error message above. I tried closing the resource and reopening. still does not work.
I then closed L8 and relaunched, same thing.
tried deleting and redownloading a couple times. same thing.
log files included.
also - just noticed. what I am trying to access is the vocabulary, not the video lectures.

I see a repeated web cache error but I'm not sure why? Something seems to be blocking your ability to connect to the url where the vocabulary media is stored. I checked on my system and I am able to connect to the vocabulary audio without issue.
Unless someone else chimes in with a solution, I would contact tech support.
One additional thought, if you have security or anti-virus software running, try disabling it and see if you can connect to the media.

Have you found a solution?
I am having the same problems with the Hebrew Version of Van Pelt and Pratico (see here https://www.logos.com/product/41557/basics-of-biblical-hebrew-vocabulary)

I called customer support yesterday and my ticket was escalated to the next level support.
turns out that it's not just me (for this resource). they were able to duplicate the issue and we even tried at app.logos.com, and it errored there as well. he escalated further and will let me know when they discover whats wrong on their end.
to Sarel - you may want to try app.logos.com as well. the tech I had for my issue said that helps to know if it is something local or on their side.

I also tried app.logos.com and it also does not work for me. I do not have the Greek version, only the Hebrew. I do get a different error in app.logos.com

Yeah, this is actually good news. Although one of the previous poster did say that it worked for them. So perhaps it is isolated problems only some experience.

well..
spring break is almost over and my time for needing this is gone. I still will appreciate being able to review them when the issue is fixed, but really needed it the last couple weeks. kind of disappointing that I have this nice library, but can't access resources that are mine.0 -

It's been a while and was hoping for an update. Finals this week, and this media available would be great.

I heard back from Faithlife tech support and they said that this will be addressed in version 8.8. I am patiently waiting...

No. We are at 8.8 as of today. When the new version goes live, Philana posts the announcement and then goes back and makes updates on relevant threads (as she did here).

we are currently only at 8.7...Philana has posted some time ago that 8.8 went stable - you may want to restart Logos or use the update now command (provided your settings are in a way that program updates are downloaded and installed from the internet)
Have joy in the Lord!

Interesting. I just got the notification that it was updating. I have had my Logos software running all day since about 6 am. I'll check my media files after it's done indexing. thanks

as I noted previously, I had my Logos running all day, and it wasn't until after 1pm or so that I was notified that there was an update. my apologies.JT (alabama24) said:Brent Hoefling said:we are currently only at 8.7...

did a spot-check, and the mounce resource does work, as well as a few others off the top of my head that I knew wasn't working (I sent in a list from my library of media that weren't working, I will check that list later this evening/tomorrow). I was "almost" disappointed. when I first checked, it didn't appear to be working, but after I cleared any downloaded data and tried playing again, and this time it worked.
I am a little disappointed in one of my resources the video is very small and pixilated, not even worth viewing (standard 1680x1050)
At least I can now listen to my vocabulary lessons...
