Can you put notebooks inside of notebooks?  I'm wanting to organize my notes where I have a notebook for a book of the bible (Isaiah).  Inside my Isaiah notebook I have notebooks for each chapter.  Then I have individual notes in each chapter.  It would look something like this:

  • Book of Isaiah
  • Chapter 1
    • Individual notes for verses in chapter 1.
  • Chapter 2
    • Individual notes for verses in chapter 2

Otherwise, when I open up my notebook in Isaiah my notes are not organized by chapter.  I would like to be able to view my Isaiah notes like folders inside a folder.

Is this possible or is there another way to organize notes?

Thanks.

This is not possible right now. It has been discussed in the past, and at some point FL may add that as a feature to the notes tool.

Any updates on sub grouping notes and / or notebooks?

To my knowledge, this is not currently on the roadmap. But you can effectively do the same thing with the use of tags.

Thanks for the quick answer. Yes, I am currently going back over the twelve years of notes manually. I was one of the proponents for tags and make extensive use of them in other applications. (I think I just misunderstood the notes feature from the beginning.)
