This is a recurring problem for me. Whenever I need to recompile a resource (which used to generally go smoothly), it will now not compile. I get this message:
[Error] Error while building book: Could not remove existing resource. Please close all other open panels and try again.

Closing all the other panels makes no difference.

Recompilation is often necessary when the compilation shows fixable errors or warnings (per my note about Index to Bible studies).

I close the program and reopen it (which is, of course, quite a nuisance). Usually that solves the problem, but not always.

I thought I had seen that this problem had been fixed in a Logos update, but although I have Logos 8.3 SR-3, it is still a problem.

Are others still having this problem? Is this on a list to be fixed in a future update (hope, hope, hope).

UPDATE: After posting this, I see that I posted this same question a week ago.  I tried to delete this post, but don'pt see a way to do this.  Since I've gotten no responses to the other in a week, maybe it's OK to leave this one up.  Otherwise, would an administrator please delete it?  (After, perhaps answering my question on the other thread?)

Hello Calvin,

This is a known issue and, so far as I know, unresolved.  Latest discussion on this was at this thread:

There is hope!!  Bradley at FL says that this should be fixed on 8.4 (at least on Windows).
