New highlights not showing up

anyone else have this issue?  New highlights, icons, and notes are not showing up in iOS ipad app after the latest update.  Any Ideas? Previous highlights show up just fine, just nothing newly created.

Do you have a Faithlife Connect subscription and/or an L8 feature set? In any case, try logging in to https://app.logos.com , killing the mobile app and starting it up again.

This problem here is that notes do not display if they are added to the free online resources that become available after you install one of our Mobile apps.  .

It does not affect resources which have been acquired in other ways.

Our technical team is working on a fix for this.

When do you plan to get this fixed? You can't do Precepts Inductive study without it, even though Logos is advertised in their materials.

Yes, it is the. same issue.  I am evaluating Logos (free version) and I can't get notes or highlights I have created to appear within the Bible text, which makes them a bit pointless.  I understood from the thread (Joe McCune) that this a known error that was being addressed. I can't recommend the product until it is fixed.

Simon,I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with this.  Please do the following:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the  Menu icon.
  3. Tap  Help.
  4. Press "Report a Problem"

A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically. Please enter a description of the problem, including as much information as possible, like what book or feature you may have been using, what passage you were working in and whether the problem occurs consistently or at random. When finished, press "Send" to send your report.

A technician will reply as soon as possible.

This worked for a few days and now it’s not working again.  New Highlights don’t show up in the text.  Help!

I think this is related to the fact that I recently downloaded Logo desktop on my new laptop (macbook air).  There isn't a free version of ESV on the desktop, so it's now affecting all my notes and highlights in my mobile app (ipad and iphone).  That the software is so buggy makes me hesitate in buying anything from Logos, but if someone can assure me that if I buy desktop ESV I can return to previous notes and highlight functionality in mobile app, I'm willing to buy ESV to solve this.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Above, Joe said that it does not affect users who acquired the resource some other way (i.e. a purchase). In any case, you may return the purchase within 30 days.

Gabriel,

If you order free free Logos 8 Basic, it will make the ESV available for you on Desktop.  It will also have the added benefit of updating you to the latest version of our Notes Tool for Desktop.  The fact that you have the latest version of the Notes Tool for Mobile but not for Desktop may be affecting the performance of Logos.

Please order the free Logos 8 Basic here.  Logos should then update automatically after you open it on your computer(s).  It may take quite some time for the initial synchronizing process to complete.

Hi Joe... thanks for your response.  I ordered Logos 8 Basic and reinstalled it on my computer.  When you say that ESV is available for me, do you mean that it is free? It is still asking that I buy it.

Hi Gabriel,

There is no need to buy the ESV now, you have access to it on all platforms because you have ordered the Basic.

The features, datasets, and books provided in Logos 8 Basic are “access-only”, which means you have access to them, but do not own them permanently.  That is why you still have an option to buy the ESV, but in your situation have no need to buy it.

After the synchronizing process has completed, please open the app on your iOS device.  Open the Home Page (icon at bottom of the screen that looks like a house).  Enter “update anchors” in the “Enter passage or search” bar.

If you still need further help after doing this, please send fresh logs:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the  Menu icon.
  3. Tap  Help.
  4. Press "Report a Problem" and send your report.
