Transfering to New computer...what is synced

I am going to be getting a new computer and of course I want to transfer Logos 4.
I know reading plans are synced, but what else? Will I lose my layouts? What about my book preferences? Is there any way to save or move these? What about resource priorities, program settings, etc?

All your documents and preferences are sync'd + named layouts (not snapshots), although collections can be slow to come across.
An alternative is to consider Method 1 or 2 at Quick
Installation onto multiple computers which will transfer everything from your existing installation!Dave

All of this stuff will be transferred over as long as you've been running Logos with "Use internet" set to "Yes" in Program Settings. Every user setting, all your collections, layouts, bookmarks, favorites, notes, reading plans, prioritizations, toolbar customizations, etc. Everything gets synced.

I am normally a person that hates using "the cloud," but this is one time I appreciate it.
thank you for all the replies

You really need to look at using one of the options Dave referred to. I have used option 2 twice. You can be up and running in a half hour on your new machine.

Depends on how long a full reindex takes on your computer. It will take that long, plus a bit more for doing the copying of files, but that should be relatively quick (compared to downloading them).

There are a handful of preferences that don't sync. These settings are related to display (such as program and text scaling). This is because the second computer may have a different size display and you may want them to be different between the computers.
Also, the layout "snapshots" that automatically keep track of your history are not transferred, only named layouts sync.
