4.0D Beta 3 is here - Still no new features....
Downloading Now - Looks like a lot of Bug Fixes which is good - still waiting on some sign of missing features in Beta...

Glad they are working out the bugs. That way when 4.0e comes along, we only need to test it and iron out bugs for that version rather than d and e. Looking forward to the end of the year, when the software should be flying. By then all of the missing features should be in and they can begin implementing some of the requested features.

Actually, this Beta cycles DOES CONTAIN a number of interesting and important things. Just that its more subtle and behind the scenes.
I like some of the COM API stuff, but I'm still working out how I can use it in ways that are actually useful, over whats already built in.

I am thrilled to see that they finally put in the functionality for the Collections window to remember its View and column settings between closing and reopening it. That had been bugging me. Now if only I could get them to fix the problem where the Library loses all its column customizations every time I upgrade to a new release, I'd be a really happy camper.

Super, Bob! Thanks for informing us...I was getting concerned that it would be another week or so for 4.0d beta to be finsihed and then maybe 4.0e would start sometime after that in the beta process....glad to hear that you are already working on it!
