Over the past year I have become very disappointed with faithlife connect. It just does not seem like its worth it. I am seriously thinking about discontinuing it and just buying the full feature set.
What is it about FLC that disappoints you? Did you have Logos Now? If so what was it about LN that was better than FLC? Just curious is all :-)
I think before Logos Now had the perks of (1) access to Logos Web and (2) getting early future releases. But now neither of those are applicable. So I don't think the feature offers are very attractive anymore. I think most people can live without it and still continuing to FC just because.
Plus it is pretty expensive for the small features they offer. If its $5 or less I think it would make more sense and equal to what they offer.
They need include all the Mobile Ed videos in the FC subscription if they charge the price they're charging right now. Otherwise it's a rip off and a market abuse when you compared it with Neflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.
When I first got logos now. They were releasing new features every couple months. I have not seen a new feature released in some time. It used to be that you got a faith life book original and classic. They have completely removed the original faith life books. I do not think it is worth the price anymore.

Kind of. It is true that you can’t select one to own. However, they made the “pick from” list available to FC subscribers as a temporary license. Although I prefer to own, it would have taken many years to acquire all of those resources.
Logos Now was an experiment. Some of it was successful, some not. The idea of having regular feature updates was not practical.
FC will make more sense to some users... especially newer users who want a lower cost way to get in. For long time users, it may not be as good of deal, but FL has provided a number of member discounts which help to offset the cost.
I'm one of the long time users for which it seems to make sense for now, primarily through the easy acquisition of PD books each month that I am not likely to ever want to buy. When the pool of attractive monthly freebies runs dry, I'll re-evaluate.
I'm having a harder and harder time picking out 3 useful classic books every month. This month I think I'm going to give up and prepare to cancel the subscription when it expires.
Anyone else in the same situation?
Peter
For me Six months free access to two mobile Ed courses per year, discounts to base packages when a new major version is released, three free PD domain books each month. There is enough on the list I don’t own to select from for a couple of years. I think it’s great value. I don’t miss the free Lexham original each month because there were months where I already owned all of the titles that were being offered. And I don’t care to see new features every six weeks. i’d rather they finished what has been started and fixed bugs in what they have already finished. And then there is FL TV on which i do find programs of interest. For me there is plenty of value.
