I’ve had a look, but can’t see this mentioned before...

Can we get The Biblical Theology for Christian Proclamation Commentary series published by Holman in Logos? Schreiner’s entry on Hebrews is brilliant in my prep at the moment (And Jim Hamilton’s upcoming one on the Psalms will undoubtably be great too).

I didn't know about this series previously, but it's exactly the sort of commentary series I'd be willing to spend money on.

This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

I have Romans and Hebrews in Kindle- so I took Hebrews and converted the "Introduction" into a PBB- there is a lot of tagging, not to mention 101 footnotes, and there linking of resources within them. A lot of work.

I wanted to see what a Logos version would look like- and it looks good and beneficial.

What I'm not sure of is this series still in progress or has it been dropped? The book version of Hebrews looks like it is listed for $89 now- that is really steep.

I've heard rumours that it has been acquired by Lexham Press, so we may see it in Logos soon!

Anyone from Lexham able to confirm?

I looked further at a PBB on this volume- but the copyright prohibits moving forward with it. So I have begin to analyze its construction, body text, footnotes etc; it has in the exposition portion approx. 724 in the Kindle version. This makes PBB a monumental task.

I dislike any book in Kindle, terrible way to read a book of this type. Could Faithlife respond to request about the acquiring this series- a simple yea or nay would be sufficient.

This is definitely a series I may have to decide to buy in dead tree.

FYI, Andreas Kostenberge’s Commentary on the Pastoral Epistles in this series is virtually the same commentary contained in the Expositor’s Bible Commentary Revised Edition 👍😁👌

It looks like Lexham acquired this and is now printing it under the series name, Evangelical Biblical Theology Commentary.

At least all these 6 authors and books match up exactly. And the page length of Schreiner's Hebrews contribution is the exact same according to Amazon (560 pp).
