Mac Desktop Download Not working

Hey all, 

I am new to Logos and have downloaded the Mac setup several times. Each time I attempt to launch it and install, the software keeps opening and closing over and over again and I have to do a hard restart and delete the software. Any help on this? Has anyone else experienced this? I am currently running Mac OS Mojave version 10.14.5

Any help would be great. Thanks!

It sounds like you are not installing it correctly. Are you new to Mac?

Greetings Christian

It is some time since I installed Logos from scratch however the last time I did it the installation window was a bit confusing.

At that point only the area shown in red on the picture actually showed in the window that came up for installation. This led a number of folk new to apple to click on the Logos icon and expect it to load.

What you need to do is to 'grab' the right hand side of the panel and drag it to the right making the box wider so that you can see the whole graphic.

When you have done this you can go back to the Logos icon and drag it to the right so that it ends up over the Applications folder icon. Pause for a second and then release the Logos icon and all should progress well.

Not not new to Mac, I'm a veteran and an Audio Engineer as well as a Pastor. 

It's very buggy and wondering if Logos is having issues with the latest version of Mac OS. 

I might just have to contact support.

Do you mean a beta version of macOS? If so, it is unsupported (and will be until 10.15 is officially released in the fall).

Personally using Logos 8.7 Beta 3 (purchased library) & Verbum 8.7 Beta 3 (demo account has $ 0.00 order total) on macOS 10.14.6

Have you dragged the application from the downloaded disk image to desired folder: e.g. Applications ? followed by ejecting disk image then opening Logos from desired folder ?

Concur feels buggy for application launch from downloaded disk image to crash immediately (trying to create indexer startup item fails using a temporary mount point), instead of informing user that application cannot be used from downloaded disk image.
