Just a thought- would it be just as useful for Logos tag the BDAG with BAGD references so either would take us to the request information, or is there such a difference we need both. I have a hardcopy but have not spent anytime looking as of yet.
Now with the expanded double-click action, if you make BDAG your highest prioritized lexicon when you double-click on the Greek word it takes you to the corresponding entry in BDAG, so essentially I believe this feature has answered the request we have been hoping for for some time. Although I agree that this is convenient, if I am studying a scholarly work which cites BAGD, then I want to go to the link in BAGD, because if it goes to BDAG, the information may have changed between the two editions, so the edition cited is important.

Thanks Joseph, I thought so- I have taken the time since writing this and yes there are differences and some are rather significant, hopefully some word will be coming soon about BAGD.

I agree. My comment merely observed that with this latest direction it seems less likely that FL is pursuing making BAGD available to us.

The double click feature doesn't eliminate the differences between the 2 versions- BAGD is a different version than BDAG- not totally but enough to require having BAGD as a separate resource.
I have thousands of resources that reference BAGD but not BDAG- so having BAGD would eliminate manual lookup in BDAG.

I agree. I'm still interested in BAGD. My comments should not be read to diminish the importance of BAGD. Much time has past and there has been no word from FL on this. It would be great if someone would come forward with an official word either way.
