Is it possible to edit tags in the note feature? Even though the following link is describing the process for the library, I thought that it was possible to do the same in notes in the same manner: https://wiki.logos.com/Tagging. Am I mistaken, or did the new 8.7 context menu update introduce a glitch into notes tag editing? TIA

Is it possible to edit tags in the note feature?
When I want to change a tag, I just delete it by clicking its little X and making a new tag.
I would assume that, in doing so, all of the notes associated with it linked to that tag are lost, correct?
Is there a way to batch tag notes? I suppose that you could filter your view to the tag in question, batch tag all of the notes with the new one and then delete the old one....this just seems like a lot of unnecessary steps when there could be (or, if I'm not mistaken, use to be) a way to simply edit the tag with a right click.
Thanks for the comment, though, Jack, I hadn't considered this work around.

Hmmm. By "tag" didn't you mean the tag at the bottom of each note? Erasing that tag does not erase the note,
Is there another kind of tag?
Sorry, that's not worded in the best manner. I mean that all organizational work performed theby the tag you are deleting is lost. I.e. if I have x number of notes organized by tag Y, I still want them to be organized in that manner, but simply want to alter the name of the tag representing the notes to better reflect the category. I want to avoid having to sift through notes to find those which were tagged with tag Y as it's simply a Sisyphusian task with thousands of notes in the tool.

Here is one way to make your task easier, Chris.
