I'm looking to buy a new computer to run Logos 8. I have approx. 8,000 resources including quite a few Mobile Ed videos.
What hard drive is best:

There is no question:
Stephen Pallot:512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive
The other drive has a SMALL solid state drive primarily for the operating system. It is not large enough (or intended) to install Logos.

I agree with JT. The smaller drive coupled with a slow 5400 rpm hard drive will slow you down. You'll be much happier with a 512 GB HD.

I got a new computer this winter for Logos. 16gb of Ram with a SSD hard drive built on the Ryzen 5 2600 chip has been great. SSD is the way to go.
In my opinion, logos works best on nvme ssd. A 5400 rpm harddrive will slow down logos. It would be much better to buy a 500gb/1tb nvme ssd and then partition the boot partition if necessary. There is no necessity to do the partitioning though, logos would not have any impact if your computer just had one big drive.
Thanks for your advice.
