I have both Tyndale New Testament Commentaries on 1 Corinthians (Leon Morris 1985 edition, Tom Schreiner 2018 edition). When I open the parallel resources set window the 1985 edition shows up before the 2018. How do I move the 1985 edition down the list?

Hi Jarred,

Open the Library, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right, then select Prioritize Resources. From there you can drag resources up and down the list. Right-clicking a resource in the list will give you the option to remove them from the list.

Unless I am misunderstanding you, I would have to add each title of the TNTC individually. My whole set is a priority.

You'd probably only need to prioritize the one individual, newer TNTC volume above the series, that should do.

How do I do that? When I drag the Schreiner volume into the prioritization list, it moves the whole series.

you hold the CTRL-key while dragging the volume into the prioritization list, this will prioritize only the invidual volume, not the series.

Giving the newer update volumes priority over the older ones, my TNTC prios now look like this:

CTRL-key

Thanks! I learned a new one.

An alternative method to doing this is to rename the series of the older volumes to something like "Tyndale Commentaries (Old)". Then you can prioritise those volumes separately. You can also rename multiple volumes at the same time. You can rename the series from the information pane in the library.

Mark, I just tried that. Thank you for the great tip!

Yep. Custom series names is one of the most useful (and most hidden) power-tips for Logos.

My thanks to the various MVPs. Without them Logos would have died early. They were the only real help available.

Faithlife Corp. owes the MVPs free resources for life.
