I just picked up a new Surface Pro 6 yesterday to use as my dedicated on-the-go Logos machine. One of my favorite ways to set up sermon notes is to create notes anchored to the Bible text. I use to do this with an iPad...a few years ago. The functionality was pretty great on the iPad: Press on the note icon and the note contents would pop-up on top of the Bible text.

When I do this on the Surface Pro, it opens the note in a new note panel.

When I "mouse over" the note icon, the pop-up works.

Anyone know how to make this work with a 'tap'?

The problem is the difference between iOS and Windows. Logos for Windows is designed for laptops and desktops and most definitely NOT for tablets. It seems they don't see the value in doing a tablet specific design UI for Windows even though there are now some great Windows tablets. The Logos UI doesn't take advantage of this. They probably don't see enough value in it for sales. In there defense neither do the other major Bible study/research programs.

Long answer above. Short answer: I don't think what you want is possible on Windows.

BTW I hope you got a great deal on the Surface Pro 6 because just yesterday the Surface Pro 7 came out. If you paid full price take it back and get the 7. It's a nice upgrade.

Or take it back to get a discounted SP6 or get it price matched.  They're available for $899 with typecover for the i5/8gb/256gb.  The SP7 would be $1299 for that configuration without a type cover.  The SP7 is a nice upgrade for USB-C and the new CPU, but $400 more is a decent amount of money.

This has been very frustrating. I also purchased a surface laptop, not just for Logos but also for work. I was sincerely hoping to use Logos in tablet mode, since the laptop has a detachable screen which can be used "like" a tablet. Trying to use Logos in tablet mode is pretty useless for anything but reading. Very disappointing. (I'm also not happy with Windows as a tablet, but that is another story).
