FL is working on fixing the add to cart buttons not being grayed out.

EDIT: Looks like the buttons are fixed now. Thanks, FL!

I’m rather underwhelmed by the deals I see in week 2

I wasn't tempted either. Perhaps the next round will be better.

Did Logos really expect anyone to buy anything during week 2's "deals"?

DIsciple II:

Week 2 is underwhelming is the nicest way I can put it. Week 4 focus is supposed to be Logos 4 Gold so will be another non event. Hopefully the Lexham Press sale can offer something.

I looked at the Lexham Press resources and I have already most of what I am interested in. And if Week 4 is about Logos 8 Gold, then it also won't help me.

I find that many of the FL deals benefit mainly those with smaller libraries.

This is my observation also. Free book of the month is rarely one I don’t already own. In the case of this sale, only one book in Group A i don’t own and I own the previous edition of that book so not paying full price so I can gain 30% off a cheaper resource in Group B.

I have a fair bit of Lexham Press too so may end up keeping the wallet closed depending on what is actually offered.

We can hope for something interesting on Black Friday or Cyber Monday Armin.

This was certainly my thought also. My expectation for Black Friday was straightforward discounts on individual items - but it seems that you have to buy more than one resource and then take into account particular categories of resource. As a simple soul, I like simple deals for each resource and am put off by arrangements like this.  I'm also not buying items that don't appeal to me simply to gain a future 'Christmas coupon'.

Faithlife is of course entitled to present its offerings and discount or not as it wishes - but as for me and my house, the simple offers are more likely to bring this customer to the party. Keep well   Paul

I don’t know but I did purchase the third edition of Introduction to the History of Christianity in Group A and Luke’s Christology of Divine Identity  in Group B

Agree. My budget couldn't stretch to buying everything I would have liked at the time.

Black Friday or Cyber Monday would be an option for such a deal.

For now in week 2 I spent my money on a yearly subscription for the new Disney + channel instead of the none deals available in group A ๐Ÿ˜œ

This was my first thought too. I was hoping each week would be like the first. However, these are essentially pre-Black Friday sales. I bet the actual Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales will have much deeper discounts.

Based on past experiences, that may very well not be the case.  But...I could hold my breath for this month at least ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ

I guess your point resonated!  And Graham's caused me to 'make sure'.

I did surmise the profit margin calculation. The first group a bit pricey, and presumably margin-rich. The second, cheaper, more mass market, and presumably low margin. Speculating, no gain, no loss, drive site-traffic.

I accidentally hit the buy cart button, but my browser couldn't reach the checkout cart button. Obviously, a year after their web-upgrade, the cart was never an issue for me. No need to change, with these big sales.
