Need your help finding ALLITERATED OUTLINES like Holman NT, JB Phillips, Wiersbe
I'm trying to identify any and all resources available in Logos and ebooks that have alliterated or well organized teaching outlines, items like this:
Im familiar with:
- JB Phillips
- John Butler (he goes crazy with the alliteration! Way too much! LOL)
- Warren Wiersbe
- Baker Sermon Outlines
- Holman NT Commentary.
I usually teach expository messages, verse by verse, through a chapter or large block of text. While I am good at exegeting the text, I stink at packaging the passage in outline form, which I think helps the audience capture and retain the main applications of the text.
What other works, commentaries or otherwise, are available? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!

Adrian Rogers uses alliteration a lot and it’s well developed! John MacArthur in his commentaries and sermon archive uses alliteration also.
My all time favorite is Adrian Rogers! 👍😁👌
DAL
Ps. Tony Evans uses alliteration too, but I don’t want to preorder his sermon archive because it will not have the sermon outlines included. The only sermon archive that includes both outlines and manuscripts is the one by Adrian Rogers. Excellent material!
Rod Mattoon is great too, but it’s stuck in prepub limbo. I gave up on it, so I own it in WORDsearch.
Pulpit pages is another excellent collection of alliterated sermons on both the OT and NT with a topical volume included. Available in Logos!

Hi Myke,
I would also check out Willmington's Outline Bible, Campbell's Preach for a Year, and possibly The Bible Panorama.

Dr Rogers; Forgot about his work. Excellent material, indeed! Thanks.
MacArthur: I dont see that his works have any kind of logical outline to them, just passage headings like Bibles do.
Mattoon. Love his work. I have it in WS too, and refer to it often. WS has tons of excellent outlines, just substandard software! LOL.
Pulpit Pages: Had in my library and didnt know about it. Thank you!
Tony Evans: Drives me crazy that the sermon archives aren't better organized, as pricey as they are.
THANK YOU BROTHER!

You have to dig into his commentaries to find them. He doesn't list them right off the bat or in a ToC but in every chapter he will discuss the chunk as a whole and then work his way through chunks which is where you'd get your outline material from.

You can perform a Basic Search for Heading:outline BEFORE <Bible Acts> if studying Acts. If necessary, you can restrict it to specific chapters.

Yeah, what Matillo said 👍😁👌
Not everything is alliterated but you’ll find quite a few that are.
