How do I do a Hebrew clause search for this?

Hi - I've read through all the Hebrew clause search help files and I can't narrow down this answer, but I hope it's an easy one.

From 2 Chronicles 1:1 "the Lord his God was with him..."

Searching for this clause in the Lexham Hebrew Bible:

Subject: God אֱלֹהִים AND object: him הוּא AND verb:???? since "was" is implied, and there is only a preposition עִם, I don't know how to search for an implied "was" verb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why choose "god" as Subject, rather than "Yahweh" (Lord). Also, "with him" is not the Object in the clause of 2 Chron 1:1? So I'm not sure a Clause search is best.

The implied verb is usually supplied in a translation. So I would try a Search like:

Lord BEFORE 3 WORDS (was,is) BEFORE 1 WORDS "with him" in the ESV (with Match case).

A simpler version (with spurious hits) is:

Lord BEFORE 4 WORDS "with him"

You can try this Search in LHB, if you are familiar with Hebrew.

I also added: (Lord OR God) BEFORE 3 WORDS (was,is) BEFORE 1 WORDS "with him"

and it came up with 5 more hits, so I'm all set.

Will this method help?

Copy/Paste the Hebrew words from 2 Chron 1:1..... “יהוה אלהיו עמו” (with or without pointing).

Place the whole clause in inverted commas (as above) in a BIBLE SEARCH box.

The exact Hebrew clause occurs also in Numbers 23:21, 2 Chron 15:9 and 2 Chron 36:23
