For 2020, could Logos get their Logos Bible Atlas working again? I cannot get it to work in Windows 10 no matter what I do with compatibility settings. I just want it to work again. :)

Pastor Dan, I suggest that you post your idea to the Logos 9 Wish List thread as it will have a higher likelihood of being seen by Faithlife developers. Here is the link - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/187018.aspx

1996!  Just think ... 2 more years, and its 25th anniversary. And people still ooh and awe over it. And ... runs right next to Libby (XP). She's still in high school.

In the above cited thread, the suggestion of progressive highlighting of locations during a sermon was made ... a very nice idea. Would be easy with LBA 2020.

In its day if was a great program along with the Parsons Technology product that was very similar.

To be honest I don't bother with the Logos 8 Atlas, I often find more useful maps in study bibles related to the passage I am looking a rather than in the Atlas tool, after than I'll look in Bible Map / Atlas / Chart / Handbooks / Introductions etc, the old Biblical Places Maps that existed before the current Atlas is also available as a resource and is a better source of maps as well.

FL just seem to miss the mark completely with the Atlas tool which is a shame because I know a lot of effort went into what was done but I think they bit off more than they could chew.

I searched the publishers for a small thin Bible that would be easily pursable. And goat skin. No sheep. Baaaah. And indeed they make one (sorry, goats). But what is so interesting is they managed a small useful Bible dictionary. And a great set of maps!  People like maps.

I still think Logos' idea was a web deliverable ... no interactives. And I'd assume after 4 tries, they'll just sit on the present design.

if you don’t upset the Apple Carta eventually yoI’ll have to throw them all out as the rot will go all the way through the whole Carta.

So I hope FL don’t sit on the current design but make changes to their approach but you are probably right Denise.

And If they sit on it, eventually the Atlas will get dropped from the software altogether based on usage statistics if FL are true to form.
