It's a while ago I created some word study notes on certain Greek / Hebrew words. These notes were anchored to the Greek/Hebrew lemma and if I remember well, then the note indicator would appear everywhere that lemma would occur, no matter what form.

Now it seems that the note indicators do not appear where they are anchored.

E.g. Reading John 8:4 in NA28 I created a note on αὐτοφώρῳ. I made sure:

  • the note received a colored note indicator
  • the note was anchored to the lemma αὐτοφώρος
  • the note was saved in the notebook 'Greek word studies'
  • the visual filter for 'Greek word studies' under 'Notes and Highlights' was checked and checked for 'Show in all appropriate resources'

However, when I open up the NIV or even the NA28, the note indicator doesn't appear at the word αὐτοφώρῳ.

Is this a bug, or am I overlooking something?

Related to this: all of my Hebrew Word Study Notes are only anchored to the Hebrew lemma, not to any reference. As a result, Logos does not show the notebook Hebrew Word Studies in the list of visual filters under 'Notes and Highlights'. It only does so, as soon as I anchor any of the notes from this notebook to a specific reference.

It was not possible with logos 8 at the time of this response on the issue in September.

Haven‘t had to read in full where you asked about this in Logos 7 but this might be what you were thinking of
