Homepage Daily Deal

Is there an easy way to find the daily homepage deal? It may still appear on the homepage, but for those of us who only have the free version of the software, I'm not aware of an easy way to find it. I search items on sale by saving and scroll down to 50% off.
Perhaps Logos could consider adding it to the "Sale" drop-down menu.

I just open the http://logos.com homepage and the homepage deal is always at the top right corner

I believe Paul's point is that for those who haven't bought a Logos 8 base package (apart from Basic) they get a different layout without the daily deal included.

Graham. You're correct. In the past this intrusion only happened during a sales promotion for L8, but it seems a permanent feature now.

Sorry, I think I once knew that and forgot. Scrolling down to 50% is a nuisance - using a 60per page search filtered to unowned resources on logos.com has 50% somewhere on page 5 for me (and I have a large library, YMMV). This of course is due to the fabulous 4.99 W&S sale but not convenient for finding the daily homepage deal.
Perhaps someone could scrape the link from the page and put it into an automated feed posting to a forum or a FL group?

well, the easy way to do it is to look at the html and pick the url that follows the daily deal from the previous day.
for tomorrow, try www.logos.com/product/6888/notes-on-the-minor-prophets"

For Thursday, it will be www.logos.com/product/38300/the-navarre-bible-romans-and-galatians

How do you see into the future?

Just looking at the html for the main page. It contains a list of about two months of daily deal urls. On each day rollover, a counter increments and selects the next url in the list which is then displayed in the dailydeal pod for the day.
Unfortunately for Paul, the dailydeal pod is not enabled for the web page that he sees. But he can access the daily deal directly.

The way I have to access it by creating a bookmark for books on sale and scroll down to 49-50% off. Presently for me that's about page 7. Today's daily deal is this one.

It's not a massive problem, but it's perhaps surprising that Logos don't make it easier to locate the daily deal for everyone - including those of us on the free version of L8.

Paul, you can find the list I am talking about very easily. In chrome or edge web browsers, open to the logos main page and right click and select “View source“. Then use the browser Find function and type in “navarre-bible” (without the quotes). That will get you to the daily deal url list.

Robert. Just fired up my laptop as I tend to use my tablet, only to discover that the homepage has now reverted, so I can now see what L8 purchasers can see too. I wonder if someone from Logos has spotted this exchange. If so, many thanks to them.

Great news! I know this has been a source of frustration for you for quite some time.

Actually having to find the daily deal another way has meant I found other deals. But it's great to be able to find the daily deal more easily and I'm sure it makes business sense for Logos.
