I often cannot see the cursor when I'm typing in notes on a second monitor. I have two monitors setup on a home built PC. The second monitor holds my Notes Window in my preferred layout. But the cursor is often invisible. When I click into an insertion point I see nothing and often the insertion point is out of place so I start typing into the wrong spot. Quite annoying.
Strangely, it doesn't happen as I put the Notes window on the main monitor.
On a whim I just tried to switch which was my main display in Windows Display settings and that didn't fix the problem. However, now that the display that I could not see the notes is my "Main Display" according to Windows settings, the notes still have the problem on that same monitor.
I can't figure out a way to test if it is a hardware issue. I can say that this is the only program that I see this issue.

Hi Kevin
Notes cursor not appearing on second monitor has been around (affecting at least some people) for a while
It looks as though it is fixed in the 8.13 beta 1 release which has:
Graham Criddle:Notes Tool Fixed a bug that prevented the cursor from remaining where it was placed in certain situations.
I may download the beta to see if this is the needed fix. In second or third monitors, the cursor remained where it was placed, you just could not see the cursor. The same occurs in "some" fields in the sermon editor. You have have to click and type and hope you clicked in the right place. :)
Graham Criddle: Hi Kevin Notes cursor not appearing on second monitor has been around (affecting at least some people) for a while It looks as though it is fixed in the 8.13 beta 1 release which has: Bug Fixes Context Menu Removed non-functional “Bibliographic Item” references from the context menu. I will test it out when I can, but this doesn't describe the issue I'm having. It's not that it doesn't stay where it is, but that it doesn't show up at all.
The problem is also described here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/186412/1083556.aspx#1083556
Not fixed in 8.13.0.0008. Not a major deal, but irritating. And in today's world multi-monitors (laptops drive this especially) I would expect are fairly common. The type of thing that is a very visible issue that hurts the reputation of the product.
8.14 Beta 1, which should contain a fix for this issue, was just released: https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_8.14_Beta_1
Yep
Thanks!!
