Does anyone out there have a built search query for searching Greek manuscripts; including the Earliest Greek Manuscripts, and are willing to share it? If so, could you please tell me where to save the query. But if not, can anyone tell me how to build such a query in Logos 4. I had this in Logos 3 and I really miss it. Thanks

I would help if I could, but I don't understand the question.
What is it you want to search for? What kinds of thing?
(Once you have a search you like, if you want to re-run it easy, drag the search tab to the toolbar or to Favorites Panel.)
I want to be able to search the original Greek manuscripts to see any textual variances. In Logos 3 you could build a search query with your selected bibles put in. I want to be able to duplicate that kind of searching.
I can only suggest you build some Collections of your bibles and view the results by Grid, ala L3. I assume you have no problem building the actual query?

but is there an option for the text comparison where it highlights the variances?

Is this what you were asking all along? The Text Comparison does that but it depends on your base library. The options are similar to L3 when you click on the tab menu (the little down arrow at top left). If not there you musn't have the required base Library product (Original Languages & up, I think).
Yes that is what I have been asking, but I have not used that option much in L4. I have Scholars Gold. Could you tell me where the text comparison option is in L4 and does it save the last version(s) selected? Thanks.
Hi Michael
Text Comparison can be found in the Tools menu as below:
By default, it will use the same versions on subsequent occasions

Thanks Graham,
So if I understand you right, whatever versions I use, it, be default, will remember those. Is that right?

I thought that was the case but have just tried it again and it doesn't seem to act that way.
It seems to go back to an earlier setting - which I can't find anywhere!
If you left-click in the field which shows the Bibles it throws up a menu which allows you to select recent Bibles so it's not too hard to get back to an earlier set but I'm sorry I can't see how to create a default at the moment.

You're right! The earlier setting seems to be the top 4 prioritised bibles (in Library | Prioritize) or ones Logos chooses by default. If you experiment a while you should be able to confirm my suspicion.
In Logos 5 the Text Comparison defaults to the first five Bibles that you have listed under your Library Prioritize function. It is easy to change that way.
