My Logos library can not be complete without these two items:

The Samaritan Penteteuch (Mysteriously disappeared from the Pre-Pub list)

Crum's Coptic Dictionary (Also mysteriously disappeared from the Pre-Pub list)

Hank Hanegraaff's Lifeworks (Shows up all over the internet as "out of stock" but I wonder if it ever really shipped.)

So I will keep adding to my library until these three are there. Surprise

Same here! Were you on vacation or something, I was not noticing you post as much as you use to? Glad to hear from you again. Blessing.

(Couple months of health challenges)

Re: Hannegraaff's Lifeworks,

  • Logos.com never carried it
  • CBD lists it "out of stock"
  • RCS shows it available for order but I think it's a dead catalog page
  • Amazon apparently entered it into their used listings at one time..

I am afraid Nelson pulled it's publication due to the lawsuits surrounding the ministry at the same time it was supposed to be released. Nobody is talking. Sad

I'd pay a pretty penny for it.

Re: The Samaritan Penteteuch,

Maybe the "Woman at the Well" has that tied up in copyright negotiations. Stick out tongue

Molka, this looks like spam and is not an appropriate use of the Logos forums.

I followed the link to "arabchurc"  forums.  I do not read Arabic but I could read the banner ad ...... Big Smile

This is not the first time a religious website tied itself with secular ad programs they might not want to be associated with. Embarrassed

I won't memorialize the content in my post but suffice it to say; "Be not unequally yoked."

I saw no banner ads I could read. I just saw Arabic Google ads, ran the text through Google translate, and it was nothing to be ashamed of. It's probably somewhat random what shows up there. Based on some unfortunate keyword associations it might be embarrassing sometimes to people of faith. There ought to be a setting for Google AdSense for "safe surfing" or avoid certain kinds of advertisers.

The site itself seemed "relevant" to Logos users, at least to a tiny percentage of them: a Christian site for Arabic-speaking people. Here is the Google translation of the sidebar menu

Church Network
   Bible
   Interpretation of the Bible
   Church Forum
    Response to suspicions
   Questions and answers
   Christian Library
   Tests
   Hymns
   Video
   Links
   About Us
   Contact Us

But it's still against the Forum Guidelines (and borders on spam) to advertise one's site here on the Logos forums, even if it's a Christian site. I did report it as abuse, but with a question mark. I don't want to scare off an Arabic Christian friend of Logos, as there are surely so few of those. The one other post by Molka Molkan seemed legitimate enough, so I don't think it's a purely spammer account as some are.

See http://wiki.logos.com/Bibliography

See also user Mark Barnes' bibliographic report tool (external to Logos); it has the cool ability to show a bookshelf view of your whole library, with book cover images: http://www.4-14.org.uk/logos/logos4-bibliographic-report

Speaking of being "unequally yoked" with ads, I just saw this one pop up on the Jerusalem Post website.

I'm not sure a recent count means much now that some of us have 1 or 2 thousand free titles. It kind of swamps the ones we use more often.

I still wish the count I see on my iPad better matched what I see on my PC.

For all the hundreds plus, apart from when I'm searching, I live in a very tiny set of the resources. My default bible wins most of the time. Now I just need to read it more ...

Interesting, I was the first to reply 2 and a half years ago. I had 3,303 then. Now I have 6,401. Don't let my wife see this thread!

The reason I keep posting on occation the number of resources is so if I need to restore my L3 I will have an idea of how many resources I should have. And by the way the Perseus collection of thousands of free resources arn't avalible in L3 only L4 so the number doesn't include those.

It appears there is a new final answer for the question of this thread:

Your resource count will mostly stay the same as it is today!

Seems no L3 format files for new resources, going forward.
